What We Collect

• Your Email: We get this from Sign in with Apple or Google to set up your account.
• Account IDs: Technical identifiers to keep your account secure and manage your subscription.
• Purchase History: Your subscription details and payment history.
• Financial Data: The expenses, income, budgets, and financial records you create in the app.
• Chat Messages: All text messages you send to Rosa, including questions and instructions. We keep your chat history to provide context for future conversations.
• Your Notes: Text notes you add and any feature requests or votes you submit.
• Crash Reports: Technical diagnostics to fix bugs and improve the app.

What We Process (But Don't Keep)

• Receipt Photos & Screenshots: Images you share (receipts, bills, bank statements, screenshots) are sent through our secure servers to extract transaction data — we do not store them on our servers. The original images exist only on your device. If you delete and reinstall the app, images may be lost (only placeholders remain in your chat history).

How We Use Your Data

• To Make the App Work: Sign you in, manage your subscription, sync your transactions, and provide budgeting features.
• To Improve RosaFinance: We look at how features are used (like how many people use voice input or receipt scanning) to make the app better. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Services We Use

• Google Firebase: Handles sign-in, stores your data securely, and helps us find and fix crashes.
• OpenAI: Powers Rosa's AI features. See "Third-Party AI Data Sharing" below for full details.

Third-Party AI Data Sharing

Rosa, the AI assistant in RosaFinance, is powered by OpenAI. When you use Rosa, the following data is sent to OpenAI's API for processing:

• Chat Messages: The text messages and instructions you send to Rosa, including questions about your finances and requests to add transactions.
• Receipt Photos & Screenshots: Images you share with Rosa (receipts, bills, bank statements, screenshots) are sent to OpenAI for data extraction. These images are not stored on our servers or by OpenAI after processing.

How OpenAI handles your data:

• We use OpenAI's API, which does not use your data to train or improve their models.
• Data is encrypted in transit and is not retained by OpenAI beyond what is necessary to process your request.
• OpenAI's data processing is governed by their API data usage policy.
• We confirm that OpenAI provides the same or equal level of protection for your data as described in this policy.

Your consent: Before you can use Rosa, the app will ask for your explicit consent to share data with OpenAI. You can use all other features of RosaFinance without granting this consent. If you decline, Rosa's AI features will not be available, but all other app functionality remains fully accessible.

Where We Store Your Data

• Location: Your data is stored in the European Union on secure Google Cloud servers.
• Receipt Photos: Sent securely to our EU servers for processing — not stored on our servers. Original images exist only on your device and may be lost if you delete the app.
• Your Account: We keep your financial records as long as your account is active. You can delete them anytime, or contact us to delete your entire account.

Your Rights

You have control over your data. You can request access, export, correction, or deletion by contacting us. To request account deletion or a data export, email us at info@rosemarysolutions.com.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data during transmission and storage.

Children

RosaFinance is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
